The Crosses of Lafayette are a memorial to U.S. troops who have died in the Iraqi war. Located across from the local rail transit station in normally quiet Lafayette, CA a mock military cemetery has been erected, in protest of the ongoing conflict . Initially installed on November 13, 2006, crosses and other religious symbols have been erected for each fallen American soldier.
